Ultracet

Ultracet is a combination medication which acts as an analgesic and used to treat or prevent painful sensations from occurring within a short period of time.

Usages

Directions for Intake:

• Ultracet is taken orally, as often as indicated in the prescription of your doctor
• Usually prescribed with a maximum amount of two tablets per dosage or eight tablets daily
• Finish the entire amount that was prescribed even after beginning to feel better
• Take any missed dose as soon as it is remembered. However, do not double the dosage of your medication at any particular assigned time
• In case of overdosing, seek medical attention immediately

Directions for Storage:

• Store this medication in a place away from moist, light and extreme heat
• The appropriate temperature for the storage area is between 59 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 15 to 30 degrees Celsius
• Also choose a storage area that is not easily accessible to children

Side Effects

• Possible side effects include seizures or convulsions, shallow breathing with weak pulse, dizziness, drowsiness, or weakness, nausea, vomiting, and sleep problems or disorders
• Ultracet may cause an allergic reaction to some users

Warnings

Precautions:

• Consult your doctor before taking Ultracet. Make sure to give your doctor a complete background of your medical history
• Inform your physician of any other prescription or over-the-counter medications that you’re currently taking, especially the following medications and substances: anti-depressants and anxiety medications, monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors, acetaminophen, any product with acetaminophen such as cough, cold, allergy and pain medications, and alcoholic beverages
• Inform your physician of any previous or present experience of having seizure disorders, liver and kidney problems or diseases, head injuries, metabolic or stomach disorders, and infection of the brain or spinal cord
• This medication may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Activities that require you to be alert (i.e. driving or operating heavy machineries) should be avoided
• If you are pregnant or planning to get pregnant, consult your doctor before taking Ultracet
• If you are lactating, it may be harmful to use Ultracet
